Class Marketplace

See how students can interact with your class marketplace

In our teacher Marketplace guide, we learned how you can build your own marketplace and the different types of marketplace items that you can create. If you need a refresher, feel free to go back to that guide to get a better idea

In this guide, we will showcase what the student’s experience is like using your classroom marketplace.

When a student logs into their profile using your Class Code, they can click on the “Shop” activity in the activity grid:

This will pull up your class marketplace for students to browse:

There are 3 types of items, each depicted in the screenshot above:

Instant Purchase - Students can click on this item and purchase it instantly and this will deduct the students total points.

Request to Buy - This item type allows students to “request” an item from you. Upon request, we will send you an email and in-app notification. You can manually approve this request to complete the transaction

Manual Items (default) - By default, all items are “manual items”, meaning you have to manually select which students you want to sell the item to. Students cannot interact with these item types.

This covers what students see when viewing your classroom marketplace
