Goals

Create long-term goals that all students work toward in Classroom Hero

In this guide, we will cover what Classroom Hero Goals are and how to create and use your goals.

Goals are intended to be used for long-term achievements that the entire class can work together to achieve, such as “Pizza Party” or “Movie Day”. But you can use goals how ever fits your class.

To create a new goal, click “Goals” from your class view:

Click on “Create Goal”:

In the pop up, provide:

  • A goal name (such as “Movie Day”)
  • A value - this will be the number of points students need to earn to achieve this goal

You can optionally enable student contributions, which allows your students to contribute their own points to the class goal.

You can do this by clicking “Enable Student Contributions” and providing the daily limit of points that students can contribute to the goal

Once you’ve created a goal, you can add points toward the goal by updating the value in the top right and clicking “Add Points”

You can also view who has contributed points toward the goal:

You can learn more about the student contribution experience in our Student Guide(link). But after this guide, you now know how to create and use your class goals!
